A Mothers Distress
A worried mother waits patient/
Tears fall from her face as she reflects on the life her son's wasting/
She cant accept that she's facing an inevitable situation/
Constant hallway pacing/
Heart broken, life drained from her weakened body, choking/
Soaking in sorrow/
Her child's been borrowed/
Hoping tommorow he returns, with no scars, no burns/
Her mind churns/
Her body yearns for a lesson to be taught not learned/
Gripped by fear/
Mind unclear as she reminices the years/
Her soul cries but no-one hears her tears/
Unstable, fatal/
One hand still rocking his childhood cradle/
Realizing that life is not fable she collapses/
Falls to her knee's, begs the Lord please/
Her heart bleeds/
This was her only seed, the only mouth she could ever feed/
Still unable to breath, she outstretches her arms/
With sweated palms she opens the book of pslams/
Tries to remain calm but begins shaking as the thin pages slip between her fingers/
Her mind lingers as her heart breaks and gets torn from its hindges/
Sad images/
Thoughts of pain pour from her brain/
She clutches his picture frame/
Kisses the photograph above his name/
She waits in vain, struggles to her feet and walks over to the window pane/
In the distance is a slow walking figure blood stained/
She wipes away the condensation, strains to see through the pouring rain/
Squints her eyes/
Tries to recognize the figure she can barely visualize/
She cries as the body lies, praying that its not her son who just died/
Still weak and with stuttered speech, she calls out to the person lying next to the gutter in the street/
No answer/
She walks on, trembling, her son's body she meets/
As she approaches she sighs, smiles and places a rose at the bottom of his feet.....

You have to spit this in an ANDRE style voice. This is an OUTKAST style piece I wrote, enjoy it...Please read it all, means alot...
My words echo the thoughts of my soul, but on the whole, the story stays untold, like reading books to sleepy chillen, I'm alive in spirit but death gives me the creepy feeling, like he next to me, full of fury with his axe nearly weilding...so I keep kneeling, avoiding each strike but the task like climbing a steep building with peeling hands, looking for the stairway to heaven whilst gazing at the ceiling fans, damn, the devils craving is for stealing man's.. hearts and minds, but with me theres nothing left-to-take, my body broken like a teenage heart, so there's nothing left-to-break, I pray like a lonely man with no fam, my third eye watches intensely hoping death-comes-late, society twisted like braided hair, its backwards... like yesterday, my thoughts unfold like a matrix, they forever change with each-breath-intake, my universe stands still, it only rotates with each step-I-make, is my presumption false? Or is it that the rest-are-fake? This question I cannot answer, my thoughts stripped naked like an erotic dancer, like when she slides-down-the-pole, the world too big, I cant hide-from-it-all, confusing like an ancient language, first comes pride..then-you-fall, maybe though, I can escape like refugees, stricken with complexity, but I'm on my own, aint nobody next-to-me, apart from my shadow who only mirrors-me, although he copies my actions, he dont know how my feelings-be, they torn like poor kids shoes, you know...the ones with no-laces, I've shed tears, although there's been no-traces, ideas mocked like bullied children, you know.. like the kids who show-braces at high-school, suddenly an outcast, peeps screaming die-fool cos you diff-er-rent, you see things in a new light, and they think you dissing-em, your words, thoughts, beliefs, all thrown in your face like they insignificant, I scream for help although I'm silent but no-one rescues-me, God holds out his hand as if he testing-me, I try to reach out also but satan gets the best-of-me, each step taken results in two steps back, I cant control my destiny, like a soldier sent-to-war, chosen by God before time, but now I resent-the-call, holding the world on my shoulders like a father does his child, if your upset I'm sorry, it wasnt meant-at-all....
